Current Project: Client Duration Role Environment Description: The Safeway is one of the biggest organizations in Sales and Retail industry producing best quality for the customers. The data will be organized according to requirements of the organization, such as by customer, products, Sales, vendors, orders, Region, Time and accounts. This Project is aimed at evaluation of Sales performance of the business to improve customer loyalty and market share. It aims at consolidating the Sales data from various stores into a centralized Sales data mart. The sales data mart system is helpful in analyses of Sales for Marketing group and reporting for the Sales Group. Data Mart is loaded through Informatica Jobs which will be running every 8 hours Source System Receives data from different Legacy systems like Flat files, Informatics, Oracle Etc. Responsibilities: Extensively used OBIEE Administration tool for customizing and modifying physical, Business and Presentation layer of the repository. Extensively worked on OBIEE Answers create reports as per client requirements. Description: Is a specialty pharmaceutical company engaged in the research, development, sale and marketing of branded and generic prescription pharmaceuticals used primarily to treat and manage pain. The project deals in creating an Enterprise Data warehouse consisting of Medco Pharmaceuticals the Sales, Distribution, and Location subject areas as data marts. The sources being dealt are extracted from

various databases and Flat files. Data warehouse was built in order to provide standardized reporting process for the sales force data. Oracle BI Platform Solutions was implemented for providing interactive Dashboard access to strategic business information from the company-wide data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Was assigned to get familiar with the Business Requirements statement (BRS) document, System Requirement specification (SRS) document and Solution design document (SDD). Responsible for preparing the Technical Design document keeping in view the end user requirements. Configured the three layers in the OBIEE repository using the Administration tool. Involved in Data level and object level security model in OBI presentation catalog to view the report according to the user level/position and permission. Created Dash Boards for different group of users to view across regions customer markets with the facility to drill down and charts. Worked extensively in OBIEE Answers and Dashboards for creating various reports. Created different mockup reports. Direct line Insurance using different applications for processing, medical underwriting, premiums and claims those applications generating lot of data and storing in the database. Direct line Insurance also getting some of the data related to payments from different agents and third party collaborated companies. IBLADM consolidates data related to cases, policies, coverage, insured and premiums and claims so that Direct line Insurance can easily generate different kinds for reports, score cards, dashboards to support current business and for decision making.

Responsibilities: Prepared the low level design documents for Informatica Mappings. Used heterogeneous data sources like flat files and Oracle. Created user defined functions and reusable transformation to handle business logic that is common between different mappings. Created mappings using the transformations such as the Source qualifier, Aggregator, Expression, Router, Filter, Rank, Sequence Generator, and Update Strategy. Created mapplets to return multiple surrogate keys which can be used to load multiple fact tables. Tuned the lookup to improve performance by 1. Calculating the cache sizes 2. Storing only current data in the cache. 3. Changing the default sorting order. Elimination of duplicates done by storing the previous values in the variable and using expression and filter transformation to improve performance. Stored procedure transformations used to populate the day_dim and month_ dim tables on yearly basis. Developed the Informatica mappings for loading data into stage and data mart Code review.
