Requirements for Admission


Application Form Application fee: 2,000/=(degree), 500/= (Diploma or Certificate). Recommendation from the senior pastor of applicants attending church 1 page of typed essay stating why the applicant pursues studies Transcript of the secondary school Form IV leaving certificate KCSE certificate and other certificates Mature entry for selected candidates

Diploma in Christian Ministry


The program is a two-year full-time ministry training program. It is designed to equip trainees with biblical, theological, pastoral, cross-cultural knowledge and ministry skills to serve the Lord effectively in the intercultural context. All the necessary forms and requirements for admission should be completed by the 3rd week of December (January intake), or May (July intake).

BTh Degree Program


Bachelor of Theology (BTh) degree program is a basic introduction to and overview of Christian Theology and Ministry, aimed at people interested in ministry, pastoral counseling, Biblical studies, ethical orientation, establishing values, community development, as well as those who only have an academic interest in the study of Theology. Admission deadline is the end of September.

Certificate Program ( Extension)


A one year part-time certificate program is offered to applicants outside Nairobi. The Embu class begins Jan. 2011. It is operated on block course style. (two weeks each month: Jan. April. Jun. Aug. Oct. and Nov.)

Weekend Program ( Degree & Diploma)


Weekend classes are available (Fri & Sat.) for the students of Diploma & Degree programs. The students enrolled for weekend classes will be given an opportunity in the weekdays to retake any course based on permission.

Honors BA program is an advanced qualification in Christian Theology and Ministry, which proceeds from a basic introduction offered in the B.Th. curriculum. It is a focused qualification in Theology and Ministry. On the basis of advanced learning, students must be granted admission to M.Div. or M.A.
