1. Tell me about yourself. Or introduce yourself. Etc. About me I am Mayur Malani I have completed B.com in Saurastra university, Rajkot and I am perusing Post Graduate Diploma In Management (PGDM) in Parul Institute of Management, Baroda. About my family: My father is farmer and my mother is housewife and I have only one younger brother. 2. Why do you want to join our company? Before the interview, gather as much details about your company as possible. Visit the website. Be aware of the following: turnover, no. of employees, scale of operations, product range, geographical presence of the company, share price. Prepare a list of points that I like about the company eg. Employee friendly initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility, growth, research etc. 3. What are your strengths and weaknesses? My observation is good and I always do smart work but many time I took hurry decision that is my weakness. I take positive decision in critical time. My communication is good but my weakness is my vocabulary. For that Im working with my Prof. and referring to Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis. 4. Tell me about your achievements. I passed national accounting talent search exam and I got certificate in 2009. I passed English exam with Cambridge university certificate. I played hockey in district level in 2002. 5. Why do you think MBA is necessary? Or why you did MBA? I do like work with human nature and this is only one field that I do good work in organization. And future time I will start my own business so I choose MBA.

6. Area of interest in MBA?

My area of interest is finance because I mostly interest in accounting & finance sector. Accounting is my strongest subject so that I specialize in finance sector. 7. What is your ambition/goal/vision/etc. in life? Where do you see 5 years from now? What is your dream in life? Etc. My short term goal is achieved job in good company and do good work and tries to reach my best level. My long term goal is that I start business in next five year thats my goals 8. How did you know about our company? Give the sources: newspaper, website, Ascent, placement office etc. 9. What are your interests and hobbies? My hobbies are playing cricket, watching cricket & movie and listening music. 10. Which is the last book that you read / last movie that you saw etc?
