Objectives
1. Improve and upgrade the quality of the language in this school, 2. Introduce the language in a fun and enjoyable way, 3. Cultivate the interest among students in the language, 4. Generating a better view for the language among the whole community, and 5. Making English Language as a daily language to communicate to others anytime and everywhere the students go.

Report On Competition

English is an important language . Therefore, it is important for us to master the language as early as possible in order to enhance our knowledge and to be able to understand and communicate with the others. So to achieve these objectives , a suitable program should be implemented. A program called Story Telling is designed for the students to attract them learning English. The objectives and the aims for this program is to prepare the selected students to compete in story telling competition, to show example to other students to follow their foot steps, boost the students confident level and learning the language in a fun and enjoyable way. In story telling, students will be able to use their imagination to convey the message of the story in their creative ways. This Story telling is an activity which is done on 23rd April 2011 . It is divided into two level. Two participants were selected from each classes to perform. There were asked to choose a story with the help of their teachers. The students memorized the story and retell the story in front of the audience during the competition. Every participants are given about fifteen minutes for their story. For both level one and level two there are twelve participants. The winner for level one is Hanny Joe with his story The Beast and the Beauty which was taken about fifteen minutes. Hanny Joe was wearing his special costumes and creative style. Luly Nurbila with her story Si Tanggang

was announced as the winner for level two. The prize was given by the headmaster after the competition.
Reading materials are carefully selected from various publishers. Some materials are created by the teacher-in-charge. The students are required to memorise the reading materials after proper guidance from the teacher-in-charge. At the end of their reading trial, each student will be able to read at least 1 simple English book per day without any guidance.

During the process of reading, students are encouraged to ask questions so that they can read independently. If the students can read independently, little guidance is needed as the students will come forward to ask any teachers if they have difficulties in reading and understanding the story read.

Report On Writing Program

so, to achieve the best and highest performance in learning English, a suitable program should be implemented. And as concerned and responsible educator, a program called Writing Program is designed for the pupils so that they will be able to master the language and increase their performance in English Language to a higher level.

his Apprentice Writing Program or Ice Wing is a program which is done by giving an early writing skills and guidance to the pupils so that they will master the skill and technique in writing especially in English.

Apprentice Writing Program or Ice Wing is a program which is design especially for
pupils in Year 6. The target group is Year 6. This is to prepare them for UPSR. In order to boost the result of English Language in the school, we need to bring the level of confidence of the students higher so that they will have less worry in writing error free sentences in writing essay.

Students will be brought back to the most basic sentence structure. The teacher will then identify their weaknesses as they go to a higher level of constructing sentences. After identifying their weaknesses, then the slow process of brain washing the students to see their mistakes begins.

Then, the students will undergo intensive process of remedial writing according to their ability. Each student has their own styles of writing and the teacher should let them make use of it to the fullest in writing. Along the way, proper guidance will follow each student.

4. Help students to learn how to identify simple / common mistakes made by themselves and their friends.
