Research :
The sample size was 50 with the population being Urban in nature. Mostly, the respondents belonged to an Upper Middle-class family. This particular questionaire was distributed at the gates of different shopping malls in the city. According to the research, most of the respondents visit malls during weekends. i.e. once a week.

Usually, respondents like the variety of brands in the malls and they like to check out stuffs before buying. Acc. To their point of view, they get attracted towards

the variety of brands and the sales n discounts offer which are very frequent in such malls. Hence, they get to buy branded stuffs in cheap price, which all the more increases their interests in shopping malls.

Since they are benefitted by the shopping malls, hence they recommend other people too. They try to grab the opportunities as much as they can. Then they expect more from the shopping malls and their need slowly slowly increases.

Hence, we have majority people who really want more and more shopping malls in the city because they expect more brands to enter the city. The standard of living of the people has increased a lot and it is in an upward direction only. Hence, the total scenario has changed over the time. The people who used to shop from small retail markets have changed their destination to big shopping malls.

Thus, the chart itself proves that the respondents want more malls in the city. Through this research we can say that the attitude of the people towards the shopping malls is positive, i.e. they are in favour of the shopping malls.
