Event Agreement
Agreement for Event Photography
This agreement is entered into on _______________________and is between your studio (hereinafter .) in the state of ____ doing business as your studio and the undersigned (hereinafter Client) relating to the event (__________________________________) of _______________________________ and ________________________________ that will take place at _____________________________________________ on______________________________________.

Service Coverage
The parties agree that your studio will furnish services of a professional photographer, your name, for photographic event beginning at ___________ until ___________ (photographic coverage after 10pm is subject to a fee of $150 per hour billed to Client). It is understandable that family, friends, and other guests will want snapshots, just so long as this does not interfere with your studio ability to do their work.

Payment Policy and Expenses

The _______________________ Package was purchased which includes items on the last page, and the price will be divided between a retainer fee, $___________(no less than $300), and the remaining balance, which will have the payment schedule below. Any additional purchases and expenses will be listed below. Upon signature, your studio reserves the date and time agreed upon. For this reason, all retainers are non refundable, even if the wedding is cancelled or changed for any reason except noted in Limitation of Liability. House Rules
The photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or reception site management. Client agrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation with the officials for alteration of guidelines is Clients responsibility.

Cancellation or Reschedule
If the event is cancelled, Client forfeits all monies paid. Client must supply written cancellation sent via Certified Mail by the United States Post Office. If Client fails to supply written cancellation before the event date or cancels within 30 days prior to the event date, Client shall be required to pay the full balance

due. If the Client reschedules the event and your studio is able to rebook the event, Client will receive credit only for all monies already paid. A new contract will be required, reflecting pricing in effect after the date change occurred. Your studio will make every reasonable effort to rebook the event date, however, if Your studio is unable to rebook original event date, Client forfeits the retainer but will receive a credit for all other monies paid. Credit may be applied to wedding coverage within one year of original date provided Thompsons is available.

Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs of the scheduled event, Your studio entire liability to Client for any claim, loss, or injury arising from Your studio performance, or employees of Your studio, is limited to a refund to Client of fees paid. Because this is an uncontrolled event, Your studio cannot guarantee the delivery of any specifically requested image(s). In the unlikely event of personal illness or other circumstances beyond the control of Your studio, a substitute photographer of high qualifications may be dispatched by Your studio to fulfill the obligations of photography herein contracted. Emergencies such as serious injuries, serious illness, or death to the signing parties or their immediate families will cause this agreement to be null and void. Your studio will return any retainers made and will not charge for time or material expenses incurred while preparing for the event. Client as well as Your studio must produce verifiable documentation in writing showing cause, relationship and have a letter signed by an attending physician, charge nurse, or funeral director. For the purpose of this agreement immediate family will consist of parents, stepparents, siblings, spouses, children, stepchildren, grandchildren and grandparents. Either party may invoke this clause up to 3 days prior to the event causing this agreement to become null and void.

Cooperation
Your studio will not be held responsible for not photographing desired people if there is no one to assist in identifying people or gather people for photographs. Your studio will engage people who are to be in requested images, but if they are unwilling, Your studio will not be held responsible. It is best to assign someone who is familiar with the family and friends to point out important people who need to be photographed. Also, be certain to notify friends and family who are to be included in formal portraits to please stay for the formal portraits to save time that could be wasted trying to locate them.

Review and Selection

Images will be presented to the client for viewing within 2 months of the conclusion of the event. These images are protected by Federal Copyright Laws (see below). Client will be asked to select up to 100 images for their album. Based on the number of pages in the album selected for their package, not all images selected will be put in the album. Client has the option of upgrading to a larger album to accommodate more images. After receiving layout of proofs for album, Client has 30 days to provide revisions to Your studio. If Client does not provide revisions, they forfeit any choices of images included in the album. Each album is custom designed by Your studio, and therefore original. Album design takes approximately 3 months due to customer volume. Delivery of approved custom album takes approximately 2 months.

Delivery
Following notification of completion and arrival of order, unpaid balances on additional purchases after conclusion of the event will be subject to a 5% monthly service charge after 30 days. We are not responsible for loss or damage to finished albums or photographs left unclaimed after 30 days.

Federal Copyright Laws

Your studio, Your nane, and any heirs, owns all copyrights for any and all images produced in connection with this agreement, including exclusive right to reproduce or publicly display such images (with signed release for use by signed parties). It is a violation of federal copyright law to copy, scan, or allow photographs Your studio has created to be reprinted, duplicated, digitally reproduced, copied, scanned or altered (digitally or otherwise) without Your studio express written permission. Client agrees to purchase

prints directly from Your studio unless digital negatives have been purchased. Any images found to have been duplicated, scanned, reproduced, copied, or altered will be subject to a fee of $100 per image.

Inclement Weather
In the event of severe weather, including but not limiting a blizzard, sever rainstorm or other unforeseeable events, Your studio may make the decision that it is unsafe to drive home. A hotel stay will be billed to Client if the event is further than 1 hour from Your studio studio.

Event Food Service

A light meal is required for events lasting longer than 4 hours. The best time for this is while everyone else is eating, as no one likes to be photographed eating. Notification will be provided to signed parties that a break is being taken. If there is a by person catered meal, please notify caterers that a meal will be provided to Your studio photographers (number of people_________). Client has the right to a 48 hour grace period to exit this contract. Your studio must be notified in writing. The postmark must not be older than 3 days following the signed date of this agreement. Your studio is not responsible for lost or undelivered mail. Time is of the essence for receipt of payment. No photography will take place and no rights are granted until timely payments are made in full unless agreed upon in writing. Client may not assign or transfer this agreement or any rights granted herein. This agreement binds and insures the benefit of Your studio and Clients. There are a total of 4 pages to this agreement. Please initial each page. This agreement in full cannot be amended by any party. This agreement is made, and, in all respects, is to be construed under the laws of the State of Your state and of the United States of America. The parties agree that any dispute under this agreement will be adjudicated in a State of Your state court and expressly agree to personal jurisdiction of such court.
