How will I know that my donation has been received?
You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt indicating the amount you donated and which
fund it was donated to.
Is there a particular group that you are targeting to receive your services?
While we do not exclude a particular group, our primary focus are women and children whose
voice is rarely heard.
The objective of Be the Link is to improve the quality of life and access to essential services,
like health care, education and economic development. We work with governmental
departments, NGO’s, and socially-conscious corporations. Last but not least, we communi-
cate and work with the individuals in the area.
We also look at income-generating activities, by speaking with companies that are interested
in having their products made in certain countries and assess the trade policies in that
particular area.

How are residents that live in very rural areas able to receive their medication? I have not received a response from my “Friend”, has she received my letter?

Be the Link offers a microinsurance program that covers the cost of antibiotics, counseling The women that run households may take a while to respond, due to their situation
services, and transportation to and from medical appointments. (depression, anxiety, busyness), nevertheless please be patient, a response will come soon .

We are notified and given documentation when appointments have been scheduled and met.
What does your education program include?
Our education program includes computer and software training, in addition to economic
development classes. We work towards capacity building in human development. As it relates,
to primary and secondary schools; we conduct research on other organizations that focus on
those areas and move towards recruitment of those services to that particular area.
What is the objective of your program and how will you apply it to improve services for the
poor?
How does your organization differ from other non-profit organizations focusing on
similar problem?
Many programs attempt to solve one specific aspect of a systemic problem without
acknowledging the interdependence of several related activities. Be the Link International
takes an integrated, system-wide approach to solving problems that recognizes the complex
set of relationships contributing to the overall strength of public services. What is particu-
larly unique about our organization, is our belief that collectively working towards poverty
alleviation is more effective than doing it individually. We conduct research of the area in
which we provide services and work to recruit other organizations to improve overall
economic sustainable development. This helps with communication and “re-creating” the
wheel that often happens in impoverished areas.
