Program of BIG (BIG) is a program implemented by the Teacher Education Division(BPG) in order to produce good quality teachers, knowledgeable,

skilled and has a high spiritual and personality. For the success of the BIG program planned by this grant, teachers must not only have a strong control of knowledge from various fields, but should also apply all they have learned through practice. Deep appreciation to the various activities carried out in a BIG program will enhance the character and admirable character and teaching ethics in each of the prospective teachers in line with the country.

YAB Dato 'Seri Abdullah Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia, when presenting the 9 th Malaysia Plan in Parliament has insisted that approach on human capital development in a holistic manner which should be comprehensive, he stressed on development of knowledge, skills, intellectual capital, a culture that is progressive and ethical values and high morale. Therefore, this BIG program has been planned as a whole to create a teacher-called human capital. BIG program includes various activities such as core camping, community service and so on. All these activities were planned and conducted to develop a comprehensive human teacher in all aspects. Indeed, of BIG should be an effective element for making people becomes future teachers who are always ready to serve the nation and the country.

Objectives of BIG (BIG) are to show and know the characteristics of individuals who adhere to high moral and religious teachings. Students should have the skills, physical endurance, mental and morale high as well as the interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. This program also develops human potential through the construction of a portfolio by applying reflection and self-evaluation in all aspects of the job. This program aims to build human moral teacher, fighting spirit, has a physical endurance and beneficial to themselves, their families, communities and countries in accordance with the teaching values.

There a many activities that had been implement during this program to meet the suitability and getting the trainees to involve fully in this camp. Firstly was to establish

and manage the camp. Trainees will be doing the planning, site selection, and the segregation of duties. Construction and dissolution of tents, food preparation and serving were done by group. This leads to liberated and empowered trainees. One will build self-management skills, be comfortable with decision-making problems and build skills to manage change in surrounding. Second activities were more to endure the patriotism in ones own country. It involves the singing of patriotic song, raising the flag, marching feet and aerobics. This develops spirit and manner as a teacher that will teach students in the future based on respect and responsibility to the country. Trainees get the chance to recognize and evaluate their potential human teacher traits. They build positive thinking and selfmotivation of the teaching profession in their selves and appreciate the values, ethics and moral teaching.

Next activities was the Training in Group (LDK) where trainees was being exposed with Ice Breaking, teacher personality and personality conflicts, the reality of the environment, the reality of self and motivation in teaching, change in attitude and building self-esteem. This activity gained them to practice teamwork, cooperation, responsibility and appreciate the concept of work as worship.

Adventure activities involve students to walk across the jungle and appreciate nature as well as to survive in such condition. of endurance, it will make a teacher accountable to the teaching profession and understand the reality of the environment in a positive and responsive to the circumstances and needs of the environment.

Activities in water includes the safety in the water, floating, basic skills pool, basic skills and rescue and canoeing skills. This produce a high resilient teacher as it increase endurance and physical strength, emotional, spiritual and social.

Last activities were the group work activities where it expands creative and innovative traits of a teacher. Teachers develop high level thinking skills and are able to

generate new ideas to create a critical reflection on the experience, strengths and weaknesses and take remedial actions.

As a conclusion, a teacher, who is noble in character, progressive and scientific in outlook, committed to uphold the aspirations of the nation, and cherishes the national cultural heritage, ensures the development of the individual and the preservation of a united, democratic, progressive and disciplined society .
