Bin It Love It! Workshop Pupils from Years 7-10 were joined by Charlotte Leslie, Member of Parliament for North West Bristol and Tim Leaman, Bristol City Councillor, for the Wrigleys Bin It Love It! Workshop on Friday. It was informative and fun.

VOUCHERS The college is again collecting Tesco and Sainsburys vouchers and a box is situated in the college reception. Thank you to those of you who have already sent in vouchers. SPORT RESULTS SWIMMING Well done to the St Bede's swimming team, who had an excellent night at the swimming finals. The boys relay team finished 3rd in the freestyle and 2nd in the medley, while the senior girls team were 2nd and 3rd. There were a couple of outstanding individual performances last night, with Yasmin Jarvis finishing 2nd in both her events. Annie Brown won her races. Special mention must go to Annie Brown who broke the Bristol Schools record in the 50m Breaststroke last night, she now holds 4 of the records, well done to all the pupils that raced and congratulations to Annie. We have told you before that she is the one to watch! REC NIGHT every Tuesday, 3.30pm 4.30pm Activities include Trampolining, Football, Judo, Taekwondo, Table-Tennis Badminton and more. If you didnt come last term you are more than welcome this term. Come and have a go. Try something new!! Avonmouth Party in the Park Party in the park is being held on 21st July from 12.00-4.00pm. Organisations and businesses are invited to book a place at this indoor and outdoor family friendly event which will be held at Avonmouth Community Centre and the Park opposite. MATHS REVISION AID The Mathswatch DVD-ROM was the best Maths revision aid for my child, and such good value" is what one parent said about the Maths revision disc that we sell through school. One disc covers Foundation topics all the way up to Higher. Not only are there video clips explaining every Maths topic you can think of, but lots of practice questions, and the answers. Your child can buy one from reception for only 4 (free to pupils who are entitled to free school meals). You need a pc to be able to run it. Don't leave it until year 11 - you can start using this disc from year 8 onwards.

CLASS REUNION If you were in the class of 1986 you are invited to the reunion which is being held at St Bedes on 28th April 2012. There will be a buffet, bar and 80s disco. For further information please email Sheridan Newman at sheridannewman@googlemail.com by 30th March. The tickets are only available to pupils who attended St Bedes between 1981-86 and the cost will be 15.00 which will cover the cost of the disco and buffet.

E-SAFETY TIP Clearly agreeing a set of family computer rules together can be a very useful experience, your children can use their ICT skills to type up and decorate the rules and then they can be displayed on the family computer.
