5.0 CONCLUSION Grammar is important because it is the language that makes it possible for us to talk about language. Grammar names the types of words and word groups that make up sentences not only in English but in any language. As human beings, we can put sentences together even as children--we can all do grammar. But to be able to talk about how sentences are built, about the types of words and word groups that make up sentences--that is knowing about grammar. And knowing about grammar offers a window into the human mind and into our amazingly complex mental capacity.

People associate grammar with errors and correctness. But knowing about grammar also helps us understand what makes sentences and paragraphs clear and interesting and precise. Grammar can be part of literature discussions, when we and our students closely read the sentences in poetry and stories. And knowing about grammar means finding out that all languages and all dialects follow grammatical patterns.

9.0 REFLECTION Firstly, I would like to thank Allah SWT for giving me the strength and courage to finish this assignment on time.I would also like to express my gratitude to respectful lecturer, Puan Raja Zaida bt Raja Ahmad Kamar for the help and guideance she had given us which enable us to complete this assignment. My deepest gratitude also goes to the English teachers in my school and all my collegues for their help. I do not have any problems in typing and surfing in internet because I always use the computer for my lessons. I am a very determined person.I never give up easily. If I have any problems,I will try my best to overcome them, either by myself or find help from others. There were many obstacles I have to overcome in order to complete this paper. My biggest problem was my inability to master the English Language. This had made it difficult for me to understand the content of this assignment. But after attending the face to- face interaction class, and listening to the lecturers explanation, I was able to understand what the assignment was all about. Another problem I had to face was time constraint. Being a Year 6 Bahasa Malaysia teacher, I was up to my ears with tonnes of papers to mark, especially during the last few days before the actual UPSR. I have great difficulties in dividing my time between school work and course work. I also have problems in finding the correct and suitable information to be used in this assignment.I went to the library and surf the internet.I finally found some good articles related to the teaching and learning of Science and Mathematics, I seeked help from my school English teachers and my collegues if I had any difficulties in the understanding the articles.I am very happy because they are always helpful. I do not use all those difficulties as an excuse not to be able to complete my course work.I learned a lot of things from those problems. I realized now that mastering English Language is important although I am a Bahasa Malaysia teacher. As a teacher, I should be more concerned and sensitive towards the governments policies, especially the current one Memperkasa Bahasa

Inggeris(MBMMBI). I am going to accept the governments challenge, to upgrade the mastery of both languages. The ability to understand both languages will help me to be a better teacher, a good student and a knowledgeable other. I will tell my pupils the importance of leaning English so they will be able to get all the knowledge in the world because English is an international language. This is the best coursewoks I have ever done. If there ia any flaws or mistakes,I will try to overcome them in the future.
