Nokia Codes
Included below are a number of control codes that work for most nokia phones together with an explanation of what they do. As I'm sure you would expect I accept absolutely no responsibility what so ever for any damage caused to your phone. That having been said, the codes with the symbol mean I have tried them with no problem and in my opinion they will not make any permanent changes to your phone. At the bottom I've added a few tips on using the predictive text messaging that you may find useful.

Tips For Predictive Text Messaging: They're sort of in descending order of

obviousness

1. Holding down a number key will insert that number, this is quicker for short numbers that using insert number. 2. Holding down '#' will put you into insert number mode, this is quicker for long numbers than accessing insert number function through the menu. 3. Holding '*' will take you to insert symbol mode, this is quicker than accessing the function through the menu. 4. In insert symbol mode the '#' can be used to move up between the rows. 5. If a word is not in the dictionary entering it once under the 'Spell' function will add it to the dictionary. 6. If a word is not in the dictionay it can often be easiest to brake the word up into it's components. For example I come from a place called Sutton Coldfield; Coldfield is not in the T9 dictionary but clearly 'cold' and 'field' are so the answer is to type 'cold' press the forward arrow and type 'field' 7. The three most common mistakes are transposing the word 'he' for 'if,' 'of' for 'me' and 'in' for 'go.' This is not really a tip so much as a statement of fact. I guess the tip is just not to do it.
