A New Product Venture

A new product venture for Fenner Dunlop with the aim of providing a high quality alternative choice for the benefit of our clients. Experience: Backed by a vast knowledge in this specialized area gained through supplying tens of thousands of meters of sidewall belting to numerous diversified clients over many years, Fenner Dunlop has the capability to supply the smallest to the very largest sidewall belts according to the customers requirements. In accordance with the Fenner Dunlop philosophy of quality first, the highest level of specifically engineered rubber compounds are used according to the requirements of the sidewalls and cleats, and in conjunction with high transversely rigid belting. We offer hot vulcanized or cold bonded assembly, according to the customer preference and the application requirements. These include standard high abrasion resistant, oil/fat/grease resistant, varying heat resistant compounds, as well as varying levels of fire resistance, including MSHA Title 30, Section 18.65. We offer a full line of compounds to meet the demanding environmental conditions for your systems. Based on our vast experience of handling numerous materials with their own particular characteristics, and assisted by our own inhouse developed computer programme, we are able to specify the optimally designed and most economic sidewall belt specification for any application, along with key conveyor design requirements. Sidewall belt conveyors have their own specific design requirements and our knowledge in this field enables us to assist conveyor systems manufacturers and designers to ensure the correct manufacture of the conveyor. With the global presence of Fenner Dunlops own companies as well as a network of approved service companies, we are able to ensure the correct method of fitting and splicing and where necessary, commissioning. Again, as a result of our wide range of experience with sidewall belting, Fenner Dunlop can assist with issues such as tracking, wear reduction, belt cleaning and generally increasing belt life.

Cross-Stabilized Base Belt Range

Belt Designation: X = Cross-Stabilized construction. E = Polyester Tension Plies +2 = Number of Separate Cross-Stabilizing Plies SC = Steel Cord Cross-Stabilized XST-SC = Steel Cord **Belt weight will be decided by the final belt design which is dependant on the application. Cover Thickness: Above are standard constructions, belts can be supplied with non-standard covers to special order. Belt Strength: Above are standard items, others available to special order. Note: Pulley diameters shown are for normal quality, and standard cover thickness. Contact Your Fenner Dunlop Representative for recommended diameters on belts with special quality covers or different tensile ratings as these may require larger diameters.

Sidewalls: The Complete Range

Fennerflex corrugated Sidewalls represent the latest in design ideas and manufacturing techniques. The Sidewall design ensures maximum flexing without fatigue. The profile has excellent vertical stability for load retention and return side support. The design allows for high compression to ensure smooth inner deflection around small radii. Another important design feature is that the Sidewalls can be vulcanized/bonded from both sides when mounting, which offers much higher bond strengths and security. The fabric insertion is of the diagonal type which gives excellent tear resistance and also allows the Sidewall to flex more easily. The rubber compounds used have been tested to ensure maximum flexibility along with high abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. The in-house test conveyor designed and built specifically to test the new range of Fennerflex Sidewalls has proved the design and rubber compounds work together in harmony increasing the life of the Sidewall and ensuring maximum durability.

Cleats: The Complete Range

All Fennerflex Cleats have been specifically designed to give optimum performance. The shape of the C and TC types has been created to offer best conveying capacities along with excellent self-cleaning properties. Fennerflex Cleats are molded to give the best shape retention even when conveying high-density materials.

Ancillary Equipment for Fennerflex Cleat Profiles. Screw Reinforcement sets are available in a selection of sizes to suit specific cleat designs as follows: Type 1 Type 2 Type 3 Type 4 Type 5 Type 6 Type 7 Cleat height 75mm Cleat heights 90mm to 110mm Cleat height 110mm Cleat heights 140mm to 180mm Cleat heights 180mm to 230mm Cleat heights 260mm and 280mm Cleat heights 360mm
