Sunday, March 11th ShareLife 2012

Together we are continuing to work wonders ShareLife Sunday March 25th Working Wonders For Families At four years old, Joe witnessed his father severely attack his mother and was also a victim of physical abuse. By the time he was seven, his rage was so intense that he would lash out at his mom and sister. Joes mother went to Catholic Family Services of Durhams Safer Families Program to help her learn to manage Joes violent behaviour. By processing their trauma, Joe, his mom and his sister are slowly healing, rebuilding their lives and regaining their self-esteem. The Safer Families Program prevented Joe from becoming part of the child welfare system in a punitive way. He looks forward to going back to school soon and seeing his friends again. Our network of Catholic Family Services offices collectively reach nearly 100,000 clients, serving them in more than 25 languages.

Joint Celebration Next Saturday for St. Patrick & St. Joseph

Double the Impact of Your ShareLife Contribution!

Through the generosity of a parishioner in the Archdiocese, all new and increased gifts to the 2012 campaign will be matched. For example, a new $20 gift will create $40 in new contributions to the work of our agencies; an increase in your gift of $15 will mean that $30 new dollars will be raised. Together, we can reach the $650,000 target that this parishioner has indicated they will contribute against new and increased gifts. Help to make a significant impact toward the work of our agencies make a contribution toward the ShareLife campaign today! Fr. Nino Celebrates his 35 Anniversary of Priesthood!

Vocation Seeds
Third Sunday of Lent Jesus cleaned out the temple of money-changers. He was angry; He was zealous; He spoke with authority. He was doing what He had to do even though it involved risk, danger, insult and wonder. Such is a religious vocation in the Church. If you think God is calling you to a Church vocation, please call Fr. Hansoo at 416-968-0997 or email vocations@vocations.ca (www.vocationstoronto.ca)

Fr. Nino was ordained on April 16th, 1977. In order to share in his celebration, the parish is planning a dinner on the evening of Friday, April 13th. Get Your Tickets Now! Location: The Old Mill; Tickets - $100 per person; Proceeds - towards the Restoration of the Parish Premises.
