Requirements for Electrical Engineering:

Complete 60 semester or 90 quarter units of UC transferable credit prior to the start of the intended quarter Meet all course requirements of UC admission with a minimum grade of C or better, unless specified otherwise Have a cumulative UC transferable GPA of 2.8 (3.2 for TAG), unless specified otherwise Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in required courses, unless specified otherwise Complete one year of approved calculus Complete one year of calculus-based physics with labs (mechanics, electricity and magnetism)

Additional Requirements Complete one course in computational methods (e.g., C, C++) (CSCI 223 F)

Approved Courses One course in general chemistry with laboratory ++ (CHEM 111AF) One course in introduction to digital systems and digital logical laboratory which covers Boolean algebra, principles and practices of combinational and sequential logic, including CAD methods, basics of programmable logic (FPGAs), and system-level design techniques One course in network analysis+++(ENGR

Complete a minimum of two additional approved courses for the major (see column to the right)
(TAG Applicants (guaranteed admission, you should check on this one)): any three courses required for the major need to be completed with required grades by the summer prior to the TAG submission period)

One course in engineering dynamics or principles of materials science Two courses in multivariable calculus+++(If your doing TAG, see if Fullerton Multivariable Calc counts as both since Assist.org says it does) One course in differential equations One or two additional courses in calculusbased physics with laboratory

A. Complete 60 semester (90 quarter) units of UC transferable college credit with a GPA of at least 2.4 (no more than 14 semester/21 quarter units may be taken Pass/Not Pass), and; B. Complete the following course pattern requirement, earning a grade of C or better in each course: 1. Two transferable college courses (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units each) in English composition (Area UC-E), and; 2. One transferable college course (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units) in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning (Area UC-M), and; 3. Four transferable college courses (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units each) chosen from at least two of the following subject areas: the arts and humanities (Area UC-H), the social and behavioral sciences (Area UC-B), and the physical and biological sciences (Area UC-S).
