The Martinsburg CAP squadron was invited to participate in Berkley County's Health Fair on Saturday, April 10th. Six cadets and three senior members attended firearms and emergency services training hosted by the 167th Airlift Wing. TSgt John Phillips led the firearms training while Maj Bart Rogers conducted the emergency services/ground team member training.
As of June 19th, the squadron has purchased: carpet, flooring, tables and chairs for the hangars ready room. Level Line Excavating (Eddie Bohrer) donated the use of a bobcat to remove the steep bank around the hangar. Grass has been planted on the slope and the steps are waiting on concrete. Phone and Internet service providers are still being researched. A dedication ceremony is tentatively set for September.

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, of Reading, PA, held its 20th Anniversary World War II Weekend, on June 4 6, 2010. Four West Virginia Wing members, joined with Civil Air Patrol Members, from several other states including, NY, PA and NJ, to provide show attendees with a glimpse into CAPs World War II exploits.
Mitchell spent the three day event manning a display that recreates two organizations, Reading, PA Courier Station #4 and Rehoboth, DE Costal Patrol Station.
