As of this writing, it seems likely that the first day to circulate designating petitions is Tuesday, March 20, 2012. That is two weeks from today. It is therefor necessary for you to respond immediately in order to facilitate the timely processing of your petition requirements. It will be necessary to transmit a deposit the following amounts with Progress Printing Corp., 60 Meserole Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11222 [checks to be hand delivered to County]: Assembly - $545.00, Senate - $1225.00, Congress - $1819.00 County-wide Civil Court Judge - $5444.00 and District Civil Court Judge - $1819.00. The foregoing are deposit amounts, which will be revised (with refunds, if appropriate) after petition filing. On or about May 1st, you will receive a receipt for your actual petition share cost and the amount of the refund for which your campaign is entitled. Please direct your Treasurer to immediately prepare a check in the stated amount payable to: Progress Printing Corp., 60 Meserole Ave; Brooklyn, NY 11222. The check must be delivered with your petition copy to: Jonathan Yedin, 16 Court Street, Suite 1207, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11241. Please complete the enclosed Authorization and Consent form and return with your payment. As we have done in the past, I recommend that the first named person on your committee to fill vacancies be: Frank R. Seddio, residing at 2333 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11234. Members of the Assembly should not submit a committee to fill vacancies unless there are special circumstances which have been discussed, in advance, with Jeff Feldman. Assembly Members are presumed to have designated the committee to fill vacancies of their A.D.s State Committee Members. We suggest that you obtain the Date of Birth for each member of your committee to fill vacancies. By doing so, you may easily verify their registration and enrollment status - online via https://voterlookup.elections.state.ny.us/. Please resolve any spelling, enrollment or address discrepancies prior to your submission of petition data.
