which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. SD is generally examined together with the main categories which are the famous Triple Bottom Line (TBL) namely, economical, social-cultural and environmental development where they develop a consensus relationship as all are seen closely inter-dependent. Sanford Limited continues its environmental protection by enhancing the natural environment through various programs to prevent any oil spills; they also have achieved an international Environmental Management Systems, ISO 14001 standards accreditation. According to SDR 2007, the compliance of the ISO 14001 is able to provide with up-to-date guidelines and procedures on how to further enhance the close connection with environment and community with their current practices for reducing environment footprints. Sanford Limited is also going for low-carbon activities by reducing the production consumption and installing an advanced feeding system to ensure good feeding process and reduce any possible wastes and impacts. Many companies even though have expressed their interests in maintaining sustainable firm; most of them would outweigh the economic interests more than interests for environmental and social. Financial stability is importance in all businesses, for Sanford Limited, the company has operated effectively by having the workforce to increase in a sustainable rate so as to incur lesser costs, and have management offices and investment interests in other countries (SDR 2010).
