While, the TL proverb is a compound sentence consists of two clauses; there are two subjects and two predicates in the sentence. There are some wrong selections of words that made the sentence is confusing. Here, there are two subjects and two predicates in the sentence. These proverbs is completely different in denotation meaning where the SL means cintai aku cintai anjingku while the TL means a man who is marrying a girl (bunga) but not with her parents (pangkal).
