Nishat Chunian Power Limited is an Independent Power Plant working on combined cycle mode and supplying electricity to national grid of Pakistan. The plant has a gross capacity of 200MWe that includes 11 x W18V46 reciprocating engines of Wartsila (17.4MWx11) 11x HRSG boilers having a total steam generation capacity of 80 ton/hr 1 steam turbine. (14MW) 1 black start unit (300KW) 6 Fuel oil separators of Alfa Laval. Each engine has associated lube oil purifier of Alfa Laval. Water treatment unit (Reverse Osmosis Plant) Oily water treatment Unit Central HVAC system Fire fighting System Helping maintenance department in equipment maintenance. Managing total plant equipment health and make changes to improve performance of plant. Design maintenance schedules and procedures, ensure proper documentation of all evaluations and assist senior engineers in process improvement and establishing innovative technical solutions. Lead the development and implementation of new extensions and projects, conceptualized new developments and improvements and participated in formulating policies and strategies. Responsible for project management. Initiate, suggest and adopt best practices. Completed documentation and project planning to plant maintenance personnel and oversee fabrication of those projects. Maintained and modified different systems of plants to enhance reliability and efficiency. Prepared budgetary estimates for projects. Forecasted, supervised and encouraged minimal usage of campus energy. Analyze plant data to discover and fix problem areas. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of W18V46 and Steam turbine. Planned and executed scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance of 200 MW plant auxiliaries that includes Actively participated in the commissioning of W18V46 and Steam turbine. All the scheduled maintenance of W18V46 up to 12000 running hours Annual inspection and maintenance of STG.

Performed and supervised periodic inspection and necessary maintenance of HRSG boiler. Periodic inspection and overhaul of lube and fuel oil separators of Alfa Laval. Worked on screw type instrument air compressor & reciprocating type starting air compressor Worked on the different types of pumps like HRSG feed water and circulation pumps, cooling tower circulation pumps, lube oil and fuel oil pumps.
