Project Manager / Engineer (2-year contract)

Job Description : Department: Property and Services Reports to: Manager Property & Services We are looking for a strong and experienced professional to join as a core team member of the in-house project management team to provide professional advice in technical aspect. He / She will manage and supervise external consultant team for Cathay Pacific premium lounge renovation projects in Hong Kong International Airport, to guarantee the product quality as well as to achieve cost effectiveness for the best interest to Cathay Pacific. Key responsibilities: Supervising external consultants in preparation of conceptual design deliverable, detailed design drawings and tender documentation for the best practice of contracting procedures. Coordinating with inter-departments to ensure the proper provision of facilities to all users in Cathay Pacific Airways Premium Lounges. Leading external consultant team to solve any project technical issues and making decision for the best interest to Cathay Pacific. Set up design requirement and guidelines in technical aspects for external consultant acknowledgement on our project planning and implement in their design proposal. As Cathay Pacifics representative to manage HKAAs commercial and technical team for any technical related issues. Lobbies and negotiates any special project submission request to Government Authorities would be required. Leading an inter-departmental working team to mitigate any foreseeable risk and critical activities throughout the premium lounge project duration and provide solutions or recommendations for the project steeling committee decision. Manage external consultants and proof-read their services system design is comply with our commitment on environmental consideration in construction project. Supervising and keep track of site progress according to project master program. Capable to identify any potential risk during project construction which might trigger cost and time implication. Supervising contractors in system installation quality and to provide advice for quality improvement from both system operation and future maintenance considerations.
