2008Election
TORONTO
February 24th, 2012
HIGHLIGHTS:
The recent poll also found
that if a federal election were
held today most decided /
leaning voters would back
the Bloc Quebecois (29%),
followed closely by the
Liberal party (26%), NDP
(22%), Conservative (17%),
and Green party (4%).
Based on this recent data
the Quebec Liberals have
lost a lot of ground since
2008, said Forum Research
president Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
Coupled with sagging
approval ratings for Charest,
and the clear lead the PQ
currently holds over the
Liberal party in the province,
the upcoming provincial
election is shaping out to be
a hard fought and close
contest. Its definitely an
interesting and exciting time
for Quebec politics.
