Simply giant woody grasses are the bamboos. It is one of the oldest building material which existed since seven thousand years ago. Bamboo fabric is a natural biodegradable textile, usage of such fiber for clothing was 20th century development by several Chinese corporations.

China is considered as the kingdom of bamboo. More bamboo forest can be found here than anywhere else in the world. In current generation most bamboo fiber used in clothing are coming from China & Japan. Theyre considered best.
