Brief and Objective

I aim to be a user experience and research professional and want my logo to reflect design aesthetics and also exude a feel of technology or modern temperament. I am most fond of muted dark hues and light bright colors although the only color that breaks this pattern is red which I like immensely. However that wont be a deciding factor in my logo design but a nice to have. The two major concepts that appeal to me in a logo are use of negative space and geometric patterns. I want to create my own logo so I can use it for my online portfolio and general online presence. I have this idea of my logo that is either dictated by S or R or both. It can stand alone or be placed with my name. The following are a few examples of logo designs.

Logos that have S in them and that have a design appeal to me.

I like the U of ubermind. It has personification, is simple and can be used standalone and with the whole word.

I do not like this. It looks old fashioned and does not represent me.

I like the G and L. It is geometric, uses negative space to advantage and is simple and elegant.
