Introduction of English Wonderland Digital Resource Centre

The purpose behind the establishment of our resource centre English Wonderland, is y Introducing English education towards young children aged between 4 6 years old. y Developing the mastery of English language of children that lives in the rural area or somewhere where English education is important but hard to practice. y Developing the facilities in rural area so it is easy for them to learn English education y y Developing interest of reading in early ages Increase childrens memory via music and videos

Concept/ Theme
The concept of our DRC is fun, childish, colourful, enjoyable, simple but yet attractive and informative, since it is for children. Children would be attracted by the colours because basically they like fun things. Adults and teenagers are also welcomed to access our digital resource centre since it is not complicated and less stressful.

Background of English Wonderland

Our DRC began its development in the year 2010 in Segamat, Johor. Our kindergarten, Wonderland kindergarten develops this DRC in order to attract teachers, children and also parents to use the DRC to improve their childrens English education. The DRC team members consist of a teacher, IT manager, a media library, curatorial staff and also other staff. At first, the DRC focused improving English by providing multimedia and videos that helps on language development. Then, we begin to introduce reading habits to young children thats why we providing e-story books in our DRC. Our target audiences are children aged from 4 to 6 years, kindergarten teachers, English teachers and also parents.

Conclusion
In conclusion, children would find that learning English is enjoyable and fun when they used our DRC as a teaching material. They will learn that it is not hard and they could master it easily and in a very short time too. In addition, the teachers and the parents can also join the fun as they can help their students or children understand better when they accessed our DRC. Our DRC can help them develop their reading and learning skill in such a young age, and since our DRC are children-friendly, they can access easily, even without an adult to monitor them. Our colourful DRC will attract them to use our DRC. Teacher also can suggest to their students to use our DRC in their leisure time. Other than that they can also come to our resource centre because we have set a lot of activity for them such as sing along, socks puppets and story-telling.We hope that our DRC will build up interest in learning English education.
