The Nine Lessons & Carols The well known series of readings with music and Christmas carols Prepare for Christmas by reflecting on the meaning of Christmas listening to Christmas music and joining in the carol singing. Please dont forget to return your stewardship card An important message to all from the Churchwardens You will have noticed that all areas of the church have been tidied and non-essential items removed. We have also invested in new tables and display panels so that we can assist in improving communication across all the various groups that contribute to everyday life of the church here in Castle Bromwich. As we are very short of space we need to ensure that any area that is used must be left as tidy as possible and free from any potential hazards. With regard to the new display boards will everyone ensure that no pins or blue tack is used to put up notices? We have ample Velcro available for this purpose. Blue tack damages the fabric of the church and therefore we would like to discourage people putting up notices on any wooden services in church and there should be no need to use blue tack again. Please try to put up positive messages and well prepared notices. This will send a clear communication to the congregation as well as to visitors to the church.

Malawi Calendars are here! Please collect your calendars from Sue Mitchell. Cheques should be made payable to Malawi Fund and marked Calendar on the reverse. I have ordered a few spare calendars in case you forgot to sign the list and would like one. The cost is 5 per calendar.
Please collect from the back of church (1) your Stewardship Envelopes for 2007 (2) Advent Collection boxes (to be returned after Christmas) (3) Christmas Leaflets for distribution around the parish If you are in need of a 2007 DIARY please see the Wayfarers today. They have diaries at 1 each a real bargain! MANY MANY THANKS to the organisers and all who supported the Christmas Fair both before the day and on the day itself. It was a pleasant social and profitable occasion much enjoyed by young and old.
