Associated Sport Private, Public and Volunteer

Extent of Partnerships With Other Sectors Private and Public They both are well known establishments which attracts more people to the organisation. Independent business owners of companies have partnerships with these formations.

Firstly, I have found that private, public and volunteer all target the same type of audience because they are sport related organisations. The audiences they aim for is: Phase One: Phase One targets a range of people starting from the age of 5-19 upwards.

Aqua terra: Aqua terra has a wide range in which they target groups 16+ so young teenagers to adults and OAPs.

Southside: Southside target groups are: Children Teenagers Adults Both male and female

So the similarities shown above mainly aim at children/young teenagers both sex but also they all aim for adults as well.

Secondly, the information I have found is that public and private have better standards of facilities because they are making profit out of their establishment which could go towards new equipment making the company more attractive to the public. Although, volunteer wouldn t have as good facilities because of the income, Southside have just as good facilities because of the Lottery Funding they received. The facilities they have are modern, state of the art, and have the best equipment to date.

Furthermore, private, public and volunteer all have extent of Partnerships with Other Sectors. They have this because they are an interesting establishment which will make companies want to be a part of the organisation. This will attract more people to use the facilities if the company is in partnership with other well known sponsors or companies. Phase One: The gym is in partnership with 3 main shareholders who invest their own money into the company. Aqua terra: Are in partnership with primary care trusts, housing associations, other not-for-profit organisations and councils, to bring the benefits and fun to be had from physical activity to as many community venues, parks and play areas as they can. Southside: The youth club are in partnership with MyPlace and BANES council (Bath and North East Somerset).

Moreover, private, public and volunteer all have similar organisational aims because they are all aiming to achieve the same objective. Phase One: The aim is to continue upgrading equipment and classes while continuing to offer their friendly expert services and making sure their members are heading in the right direction.

Aqua terra: To attract people from the local community to get involved into different sports.

Southside: To attract young people from the local community to get involved in sport; give them something to do. Clearly, the above is showing all sectors have the same organisation aims and are leaning towards helping people, local members of the community to participate in sport and they are there to give the services/advice the public want to receive.

The pricing structure varies between what specific service you require and what type of deal you are wanting whether its for one day or a pay monthly membership or even yearly. Phase One: 12 months: 28 monthly 290 Pay in full
6 months: 30 monthly 170 Pay in full

Yoga - free for members (and only 5 for non members) with no booking required. Zumba Costs 5 Aqua terra: 10 for one specific activity such as just swimming, or pay 35 a month to use all facilities e.g. the gym and the indoor court as well as the swimming pool. Southside: Outside of club open times if you want to hire the outdoor court it is 10.00

(floodlit 12.50). If the court is in use when the club is open then the members only pay the membership fee. As you can see the above figures may differ on what service you entail for example if you want a 12 month gym membership at phase one just for the gym it will cost you 28 a month, whereas if you want a membership at aqua terra to use all the facilities it will cost 35 a month, the price is going to be more but you will be getting more for your money.
