The sports in which the organization is associated with are Football, Basketball, Dance, and Gym.

Organisational Aims

To attract young people from the local community to get involved in sport; give them something to do.

Target Groups

The target groups in which the sports are aiming at are: - Children - Teenagers - Adults - Both male and female The facilities provided at the centre are an Outdoor court for such sport as Football 5 aside, basketball, netball and tennis.

Standards of Facilities and Services

Pricing Structure

Outside of club open times if you want to hire the outdoor court it is 10.00 (floodlit 12.50). If the court is in use when the club is open then the members only pay the membership fee.

Extent of Partnerships With Other Sectors

The youth club are in partnership with MyPlace and BANES council (Bath and North East Somerset).

Government Grants

The Council secured just over 2 million of Government funding for the 12-month overhaul of the old youth centre.

Non Government Grants

Southside Youth Centre does not have any non government grants because the money that is being put into the organization is either from the Council or Lottery Funding.

Membership Subscriptions

The information in which I have collected tells me that the youth centre has no Member Loans because the centre does not have members and does not have loans e.g. if the centre had a loan from the bank they would not be able to pay it back as they are a non profit organization. The information in which I have collected tells me that the youth centre has no Financial Institution Loans e.g. if the centre had a financial institution loan from the bank they would not be able to pay it back as they are a non profit organization. At Southside Youth Centre the children only have to pay 40p each time they attend the centre.

Lottery Funding

Southside benefit from a new world-class facility for young people following a grant of more than 2m from the MyPlace programme. The centre has various sports facilities, and enables young people to take part in activities ranging from boxing, basketball and trampolining to street dance, football and much more! MyPlace is funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families and delivered by the Big Lottery Fund.

Private Investment

From looking into the research of the youth centre it appears that the organization does not have any Private Investment.

Donations

The youth centre has done bag packing for Donations.
