12th Annual Global Development Conference 12th Annual Global Development Conference was held on January 13-15, 2011 in Bogot, Colombia. The central theme of the conference was Financing Development in a Post-Crisis World: The Need for a Fresh Look. 4th World Future Energy Summit (WFES 2011), Abu Dhabi (UAE) The 4th World Future Energy Summit (WFES 2011) was held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC),United Arab Emirates from January 17 to 20, 2011.Hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), World Future Energy Summit, themed Enabling Future Energy Solutions, focused on four key aspects of renewable energy: policy, business, technology, and finance. Geospatial World Forum Conferernce 2011, Hyderabad (India) The Geospatial World Forum is a conference formerly known as Map World Forum. The 2011 Geospatial World Forum and industry exhibition took place at the Novotel and HICC Complex near Hitec City in Hyderabad, India on January 18-21. The theme of this years conference was Dimensions and Directions of Geospatial Industry. Click Asia Summit 2011 Click Asia Summit is Asias largest Digital & Mobile Marketing conference and expo. 2011 Click Asia Summit was held at the beautiful Taj Lands End, Mumbai from 20th 22nd January 2011. It is expected to change the thinking of people to look at Digital and Mobile marketing. 41st World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2011, Davos (Switzerland) The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2011 was held in Davos, Switzerland on 26 29 January 2011. The theme for this year was Shared Norms for the New Reality.This years Annual Meeting dealt with global risks, developed risk mitigation strategies and captured related opportunities. The World Economic Forum launched its Risk Response Network. The network serves as a preparatory, analytical and highly practical framework for the global community to improve global risk management.

6th World Telugu Conference, Orissa (India) The three-day long sixth All India Telugu Conference was held for the first time at Berhampur, the southern Orissa town on February 4, 2011. The last All India Telugu conference was held in Chennai in 2007.The next world Telugu conference will be held at Tirupati on Ugadi day on April 4. 17th Commonwealth Law Conference, Hyderabad (India) After nearly 40 years, the Commonwealth Law Conference returns to India for the first time since 1971.The 17th Commonwealth Law Conference (CLC) with the theme Emerging Economies Rule of Law: Challenges and Opportunities was held at Hyderabad on 5-9 February 2011. G20 Meeting of Finance Ministers, Paris On February 18-19, a meeting of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was held in Paris, capital of France to address ongoing global financial and economic

challenges. The meeting focused on the need to rectify large international imbalances, such as public and private debt and misalignment of exchange rates. 2011 Pacific Energy Summit, Jakarta, Indonesia The 2011 Pacific Energy Summit was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on February 21-23, 2011, featuring the theme Unlocking the Potential of Natural Gas in the Asia-Pacific. The Summit explored the role of natural gas in addressing the challenges of energy security and climate change in the region.

25th Skoch Summit, New Delhi (India) 25th Silver Jubilee Skoch Summit was held on March 25, 2011 in New Delhi, India. ABM Knowledgeware Limited was honoured with the SKOCH CHALLENGER AWARDS 2011 at the summit. World Wide Web Conference 2011, Hyderabad (India) The 20th International World Wide Web Conference (WWW 2011) was held on 28th March 2011 to 1st April 2011 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad, India.The theme for WWW 2011 is Web for All to promote the all inclusive aspect of Web and is being hosted by International IIT Bangalore in cooperation with International IIT Hyderabad and IIT Bombay. WWW2012 will be held in Lyon, France.

M-Commerce World Summit 2011, Singapore M-Commerce World Summit 2011 was held in Singapore from 6 to 7 April 2011 to discuss on strategies to profit from mobile financial services to the mass through developing strategic partnership and best business model.The summit mainly focused on Global Mobile Payment Infrastructure and Beyond. World Bank-IMF spring meetings 2011 The Spring Meetings of the World Bank and IMF took place in Washington DC, US, from 15-17 April 2011. At the heart of the gathering are meetings of the joint World Bank-IMF Development Committee and the IMFs International Monetary and Financial Committee, which discuss progress on the work of the World Bank and IMF.World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings mainly highlight Food Security Threat and Support Green Climate Fund. Worlds Large Rivers Conference 2011 The International Conference on the Status and Future of the Worlds Large Rivers was held from April 11-14, 2011 in Vienna, Austria. The goal of this conference is to reflect on The Status and Future of Worlds Large Rivers and to provide a global forum for discussion on key issues related to this topic involving both scientists and decision makers.The next Worlds Large Rivers Conference will be held in. Manaus, Brazil, in 2014 2011 BRICS Summit, Sanya(China) The BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) added South Africa in its group in February, 2011 and hence BRIC is known as BRICS now.The 2011 BRICS summit was held in Sanya, China on April 14, 2011. It called for promoting cooperation among the development banks of all the five countries of BRICS to intensify trade and economic cooperation. The summit was held under the theme Broad Vision, Shared Prosperity. The next BRICS summit will be held in India in 2012.

ADBs 44th Annual Meeting Board of Governors , Hanoi (Vietnam) The four-day long, 44th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank ( ADB), was held in Hanoi (capital of Vietnam) on May 3-6, 2011.High level officials from Asia and the Pacific joined other delegates to discuss means of addressing rising concerns over food and energy prices, climate change, and the best strategies for ADB to work with the public and private sectors to reduce poverty and ensure long-term economic growth in Asia and the Pacific. 18th ASEAN Summit 2011, Jakarta (Indonesia) The 18th ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit was held on May 7-8 in Jakarta capital of Indonesia. The theme of the summit was ASEAN Community in a Global Community of Nations. A range of key economic issues and political disputes were at stake. None were resolved. Overshadowing the gathering was the rising and increasingly hostile geopolitical tensions between the United States and China. Global Womens Summit, Istanbul (Turkey) Women leaders and entrepreneurs from 81 countries, including China, India, Malaysia, Spain, South Africa and the United States, gathered in Istanbul on May 6 to 8, 2011for a Global Womens Summit.The three-day summit, with the theme of Women Bridging Solutions to the 21st Century, brought together more than 1,000 women leaders and entrepreneurs, including first ladies and 35 female ministers.Summit was chaired by the summit chairwoman Irene Natividad. Fourth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries, Istanbul (Turkey) The Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV) took place 9-13 May, 2011 in Istanbul,Turkey. The purpose of the conference was to assess the results of the 10-year action plan for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) adopted at the Third United Nations Conference on LDCs in Brussels, Belgium, in 2001. 5th GLOBAL SPA SUMMIT 2011 The Global Spa Summit (GSS), the leading annual event for the Spa and Wellness Industry executive heads from around the globe was held on the fabled island of Bali, Indonesia from May 15th to 18th , 2011.Bearing the theme Engage the Change: The Customer,The Money, The Future, the Summit focused its spotlight on the fastest-growing global spa, hotel and tourism markets in Asia. 16th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement The 16th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement was held in Nusa Dua, on Bali island Indonesia, from 25-26 May 2011. The participants in the 16th Ministerial Conference and Commemorative Meeting of the 50th Anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) voiced support and solidarity with Syria and its right in restoring the occupied Syrian Golan to its sovereignty. In the closing document of the Conference, the ministers condemned the hostile Israeli practices against the Syrian captives in the Israeli prisons.The theme for the 16th Ministerial Conference is Shared Vision on the Contribution of NAM for the Next 50 Years. Second Africa-India Forum Summit 2011, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Second Africa-India Forum Summit was held at Addis Ababa from 24 to 25 May 2011 under the theme: Enhancing Partnership: Shared Vision. Addis Ababa is the capital of Ethiopia. India was represented by Dr. Manmohan Singh.First Africa-India Summit was held in April 2008 in New Delhi. 20th EU-Japan Summit, Brussels 20th EU-Japan Summit was held in Brussels on 28 May 2011 for strengthening the EUJapan relations across a range of sectors. Fifth SAFTA Ministerial Council Meeting The Fifth Meeting of the SAFTA Ministerial Council was hosted by Maldives in Male on June13, 2011. All SAARC Member States participated in the meeting.The next meeting of the SAFTA Ministerial Council will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Global Green Growth Summit 2011, Seoul (Korea) The Global Green Growth Summit 2011 was held on 20-21 June, 2011 in Seoul, jointly hosted by the Korean Government and the OECD in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the OECD and the first anniversary of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). The central theme for the Global Green Growth Summit 2011 was Building a Planet-Responsible Civilization. 37th G8 Summit 2011, Deauville (France) The 37th G8 summit was held 26-27 May 2011 in the commune of Deauville in France. The three priorities of the French Presidency of the G8 Summit were the internet and green growth, international peace and security and partnership with Africa. The Leaders of the G8 met in Deauville, to discuss, inter alia, green growth, climate change and biodiversity. The Summit concluded with the adoption of the G8 Declaration titled Renewed Commitment for Freedom and Democracy
