Is important to know in this city all the historics event, because is still in the mind of all the citiziens. walking or talking with the people you can also see how the feel and even the try not to talk about all the nazisim. It is amathing that a guide explaning us The History of Berlin step by step he also elluded Hitler and what it meant. Berlin is subdivided into twelve boroughs (Bezirke), but before Berlins 2001 administrative reform there were 23. Each borough is subdivided into a number of localities (Ortsteile), which represent the traditional urbanized areas that inhabitants identify with. Some of these have been rearranged several times over the years. At
present the city of Berlin consists of 95 such localities. The localities often consist of a number of city neighborhoods (usually called Kiez in the Berlin dialect) representing small residential areas. Each borough is governed by a Borough Council (Bezirksamt) consisting of ve Councilors (Bezirksstadtrte) and a Borough Mayor (Bezirksbrgermeister). The Borough Council is elected by the Borough Assembly (Bezirksverordnetenversammlung). The boroughs of Berlin are not independent municipalities. The power of borough governments is limited and subordinate to the Senate of Berlin. The borough mayors form the Council of Mayors.

CENTRO DEPORTIVO MONTECARMELO DEPORTIVO Competition 1st Prize 2003 Location Madrid Architects
Urban Plan.
As a rare exception to the predominantly uniform, repetitive sites that derive from the urban models being developed in Madrids new suburbs, the municipal land set aside for sports usage in this competition had a striking topography and location which had to define the strategy for our project. A tennis and racket sports centre cohabits with a large gymnasium and a thermal area, as well as another series of facilities: outdoor pool, service buildings and car parks. The terraces, in the manner of horizontal strata, create a sequence in which the various N-S tracks alternate their positions in accordance with their features.
