PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Hardware Projects:
Major Undergraduate Project: Car Safety and Surveillance System, using MSP 430 to control the password lock and to detect intrusion; along with monitoring via a webcam with image processing using MATLAB. Project for Texas Instruments Analog Design Contest 2010: Anti-Collision System Which Works in Rain Along With Wiper Speed Control, using Laser and optical detectors for estimation of distance and LCD to display proximity warning (message display using MSP430). Infrared diode and detector to calculate the amount of IR rays reflected back from the windshield, thereby estimating the amount of water present. The analog output is sampled via the ADC channel of MSP430 which is used to drive the wiper motor at the appropriate speed.

PIC 18F4550 Microcontroller: Made a JDM burner to load the boot-loader. Used the PIC (now programmable over USB) to develop a Digital Oscilloscope using the USB interface of the PIC18F to collect data and used MATLAB as a frontend. EZ430-Chronos (Wireless Microprocessor Development Kit): added a day function to the watch module, currently adding a timer function. Python for Symbian S60: Developed a mobile application for blind, with text to speech conversion (paper submitted) Developed a File Handling System for Mobile capable of opening, creating, modifying and deleting files using Python SymbianS60 and many other applications. Android OS: Currently working towards developing applications for the Android OS. Programming: C/C++, Python(for S60), VHDL, 8051/8085/8086 Assembly Language, HTML Computing: MATLAB CAD: OrCAD, NI Multisim Misc: Code Composer Studio v4, IAR embedded workbench, Xilinx ISE, Ot, Nokia SDK, Android SDK Embedded Systems, Low-Power Computing, Bio-Medical Sensor Design, Computer Architecture, Microcontrollers, FPGAs Microprocessor Systems, Computer Architecture, Digital Circuits and Systems, VHDL, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design Assembling electronics circuits. Swimming, playing soccer and basketball (played for school basketball team). Listening to The Beatles. Reading magazines such as New Scientist, Scientific American, etc. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi www.ipu.ac.in Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (Affiliated to GGSIPU) www.gtbit.org The Week-Hansa Research Survey, Best Engineering Colleges Ranking-2011: Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology #37 All India, #10 North India Zone
