Objectives At the end of this chapter you will be able to: Use adjectives that describe size, color, weight, quality, sound, time and distance. Use adjectives before a noun. Use adjectives after the verb to be. Practice your English communicative skills.

Adjectives

Adjectives are used to describe a person, place or thing.

The agenda is big. It is a big agenda.

The telephone is old. It is an old telephone

In English, adjectives only have one form: No plural; No gender.
