A writing from one of our students...
Dear God,
In this world of noise,
In a world of disease and hate and death,
Help me to see that you are not in the worldly
distractions or the death,
But that you are in the silence.

Help Serve on Sunday!
Each Sunday, Chaparral depends on a
number of volunteers to help serve
Communion and assist with the offering.
Assisting in the worship service is a great
responsibility and privilege.
If you would be interested, you will generally
be assigned to serve once a month and
occasionally twice a month. On your assigned
Sundays, we ask that you make yourself
available to serve during a brief portion of the
first and second services. If you cannot serve
on a particular Sunday, we will gladly accommodate you. Every
Sunday, we assign two of our most experienced servers to act as
Coordinators who will oversee the Communion and Offering
process for the first two services providing support and instruction.
CrossFit Chaparral and Dr. David Perrine invite
you to a series of informative wellness seminars
on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. in the East Hall.

reserved with individuals 12 yrs. of age and older. Please
R.S.V.P. to Travis Armes for this opportunity. Or, you may
wish to join the Generations Group at Pueblo Norte at

stories and meeting interesting individuals, some who
don't have many other visitors.
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help
you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning
programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad
you are here today!

We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which
you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your
information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear
from everyone!
Communion/Lords Supper
All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.
If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you
are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as
they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while
it is in front of them before passing it along.
Offering
In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time
specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving
as you are led.
Nursery
We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the
north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
