Graduate Profile
Ai Mukrami Japan Ai came to New Zealand after she finished High School in Japan and it was her first time away from home. She studied English at the NMIT English Language Programme and achieved her IELTS 6 in only one year. The classes were small and my teacher helped me a lot. He made lessons so easy to learn, because he organised lots of games and activities to learn new vocabulary. We had so much fun! Ai enjoyed her stay in Nelson right from the beginning. She always felt quite at home due to the nice people and the beautiful weather in Nelson. I still keep in touch with many of my classmates even after two years. Now Ai is studying International Business at Victoria University. She misses Nelson so much, that she comes back for holidays.
