OFFSITE PRACTICAL TRAINING POLICY STATEMENT To ensure learners develop adequate practical skills to complement theoretical knowledge IPHIMBO feels it is imperative that learners receive training at the worksite. PROCESS: IPHIMBO will identify potential employer companies that specialise in the relevant field They will ensure that these companies have sufficient artisans to mentor the learners The equipment used for training will comply with occupational health and safety requirements The employer company must be committed to the training and development of the learners as per memorandums of understanding The offsite assessments will be conducted in accordance with assessment policies and procedures of IPHIMBO ,MERSETA and TETA requirements.
