Pastors Notes MISSIONS SUNDAY This coming Sunday, will be a special Missions Service. Weve been working on filling those missions bag Sis. Sarah Nelson made for us. Im believing that God is going to use the monies we bring on Sunday to do a GREAT work!!!!! If you have not had a missions bag, the ushers will have some as you come in the door Sunday. Simply place an offering in the bag and bring it to the altar when the time comes. If you dont wish to do that, all the offerings from Sunday morning will go towards this project as well. The ushers will also be handing out an envelope. If you desire credit for you charitable giving for 2012, we ask that you put your name on the envelope with the amount in the missions bag and put in in the bag with your offering. The finance committee will verify the money in the bag with the envelope amount and you will be given credit on your giving report.

PLEASE. Come prepared with something to give. Whether you bring a bag or offering, we all need to participate in this. Im looking forward to a CELEBRATION !!!!!!!!

We are now entering our 2nd week of our 40 days of fasting. KEEP pushing ahead. God is already answering prayers. I even got a text Friday from someone who said God just answered a prayer that was on their fasting card from LAST YEAR! There is an AFTERWARD!!!!!!!

This past Friday and Saturday, 19 of our church members went to Flat Rock, NC to spend some time seeking God for our personal lives and for our church. What a great time we had. Theres just something about setting time aside for doing nothing but prayer, reading, listening to His voice and fellowship with Him. There will be some video testimonies that will be played periodically to hear what God said to some of the individuals. We hope this can be something that is done several times a year. Would you like to be part? If so, plan now to sign up whenever the next opportunity arises. You will never be sorry for the impact the time alone with God will make in your life!!!!! Please dont forget to be in prayer about our upcoming Revival Services in March. Please call Rev. Eddie Allen & Rev. Joel Talleys name in prayer. Pray that God will direct them to deliver the Word from the Lord WE need. God is moving in our midst and we need the directing Word of the Lord. Im SO EXCITED!!!!!!! This is a Word from the Lord given during our Prayer Weekend: Do not dig up the old wood for it is not for this new fire. The fire I shall burn must be upon new wood. A new heart for revival, a new mind for My will, a new body awaiting my lead. For this fire will burn hotter than ever before, more intense, and shall shine My light; for there is new life in My light. 2-3-2012 Bro. Danny Knight gave us an acrostic for the ways that we can prepare ourselves for this coming Fire of God.. F ocus on HIM I gnore distractions R adically seek HIM E xpect God to show up Im ready for the fire of God, so Im working on those things.. Will you work with me? Dont forget that Pastor Shealy is bringing the messages during February and the first week of March. This past Wednesday night was AWESOME.. You cant afford to miss these messages from the Lord. See you in church Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.
