. Discovering the way scientists are able to convey theory into reality is a chance to fathom their mystery and to get better understanding of surrounding world. The more I get involved in aerospace engineering, the more profound problems seem to be and multitude questions appear: how is it possible to take into consideration interaction of so many variables? And how engineers are able to create complex machines composed of million pieces perfectly adjusted, and each of them, even the smallest screw is a masterpiece? The design of a flight vehicle is a complex procedure requiring the integration of many technologies, among many other things propulsion systems and aerodynamics, which I consider particularly intriguing. The best opportunity to develop my greatest interest is to study aerospace engineering. Since I decided to choose this career, I have endeavoured to obtain a theoretical groundwork of this leading edge technology. Reading Foundations of aerodynamics, written by John Anderson and Understanding Flight by David Anderson and Scott Eberhardt ascertained me in my decision. Keeping informed by reading scientific newspapers, and articles on sites of NASA, ESA, and CERN only developed my interests to investigate new technologies. An immense opportunity to uncover elements of higher mathematics and physics gives me attendance in Studium Talent weekly lectures performed by Wroclaw University of Technology, based on the curriculum of the first year of technical studies in Poland. Participation in those courses not only made me familiar with academic methods of learning, utterly different than in high school, but as well created occasion to inquire mathematical analysis definite and indefinite integrals and their employment in physics. Getting to know divisions of science I have only heard about before, such as dimensional analysis, mathematical induction and complex analysis only increased my enthusiasm and determination. But what I praise the most is the manner my lecturers men filled with passion and love for exact sciences guided me how to think like scientist. Strong emphasis laid on understanding problems from the beginning and thinking independently and critically, I believe, will approach towards attaining success as engineer. Although English in not my first language, I am convinced this fact will not create problems during my further education in Great Britain. I have made every effort to develop my skills through constant contact with English. Researching academic books related with engineering in this language ascertained me in my assumptions. Immense advantages of studying aerospace engineering in United Kingdom I will attain are both English, and methods of teaching that give possibility to develop practical skills, which I consider very beneficial. With great satisfaction provide me lessons with pupils that have hardships and difficulties in exact sciences. Each week we spend some time together when I help them to prepare for school examinations and Matura. That teaches me how to best pass my knowledge explaining complex problems and principles clearly. I gained essential ability to cooperate with people and understood, that in exact sciences significant is aptitude of seeing aims and purposes of every action, while one is solving a problem. Last summer holidays I have spend in Germany, where I attended a language course at level B1. Always trying to do my best, I achieved high finishing score. This experience not only improved my German, but also gave me a chance to meet people from all around the world and different cultures. I also try to extend my abilities by passing driving licence, which taught me to forecast situation and react rapidly. As a hobby I learn Korean on my own. Always wanting to pursue direction compatible with my interests and passions, in the future I intend to take master degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
