1. One should remain silent while practicing yoga. 2. One should not have a bath immediately after yoga. It is advisable to take rest for some time. But one can do yoga after bath 3. One should breathe normally while doing yoga. Breathing should not stop. In case of mudra and pranayam, there are specific ways of breathing. 4. Yoga should not be done when stomach is full. One should give a minimum gap of 2-3 hours after lunch or a heavy meal and half an hour after snacks and then do yoga. 5. The ideal time to do yoga is in the morning and evening. Those, who are working, can do it at night as well. As the atmosphere is fresh in the morning and there is less amount of pollution in the air, so most people prefer doing yoga in the morning. 6. If one does yoga after a hard day s work, he can get relief of the stress and the body gets energy. 7. Those who do not have the opportunity to do yoga after a day s work due to other work are advised to do yoga in the bed after getting up from sleep. 8. It is not possible to practice all the postures regularly. One can do six to seven common postures. But those who are really interested in yoga, they can always go ahead with it. 9. Generally, one can do yoga at any age after 4 5 years. There is a misconception that one cannot do yoga once he or she gets old. People get cured with the help of simple yoga postures.

10. Doing yoga for half an hour on a regular basis is enough. According to the time, once can do it for 20 minutes and after becoming thorough, one can increase the time. 11. It is important to maintain a time to do yoga. If on a particular day, it is not possible to do on the specific time, then it can be done at some other time. 12. While doing yoga, one can wear a dress as per their choice but at the same time; one should see that the dress is loose. This should not affect the blood circulation. It is advisable to wear a under pant while doing yoga, especially for uddiyan. 13. One should go to bed at least after half an hour after having dinner at night. One can do Bajrasana, Gomukhasana and sukhasana after dinner, which causes no harm. But if one can do Bajrasana for 5 minutes after dinner, it helps to digest faster. 14. One should drink water after half an hour after meal. Minimum 8 glass of water should be drunk in a day. If one drinks a full big glass of water regularly, after getting up from sleep, then it is very helpful. 15. One should avoid drinking tea and coffee. One, who has the habit of drinking, should drink one cup in the morning and one cup in the evening. Having tea and coffee in the empty stomach is dangerous. At least a biscuit should be taken with the same.

16. Patients suffering from Spondolysis and Sleep Disc should not bend forward under any circumstances. They should be careful even while doing Yogas and Exercises and should avoid doing postures like Pashimanashana, Janushirasana, Padahasthasana, shashangasana, ardhakurmasana, yogamudra etc. 17. Patients suffering from Blood Pressure should not do yoga in which they have to bend their head down. Postures like shirshashan, padahasthashan, halasana, matshyasana, mayurasana, uddiyan, kapalbhati etc. should be avoided. 18. In case of Hernia, patient should not do such yoga, that creates an acute pressure in the stomach. Postures like dhanurasana, mayurasana, yogamudra, etc. should be avoided. 19. In case of gastric, patients should not do uddiyan, yogamudra, kapalbhati, mayurasana, pashimotanasana. Even pabanmuktasana should be avoided in certain cases. 20. It is compulsory to do Sabasana after every posture. Aftr each posture, if we take in Sabasana, it helps in better blood circulation and helps to repair cells, tissues and longevity. This posture not only helps to rest the patient but also helps to get the actual result of yoga. 21. Ladies should not do any yoga for 3-4 days during the time of the period. 22. Similarly, when a lady is pregnant, she can do specific yoga or exercise under a doctor s supervision 23. If a patient is suffering from Cancer, Hemorigue Diathesis, T.B. and Hepatitis, then doing yoga is prohibited. 24. In case, if a patient is having any problem with his or her eye like Retinitis, Optic Nerve, Atrophy, Glucoma etc. the patient should not do Shirshasana, and others where he or she has to bend their heads.

25. It is advised not to do yoga if a patient is having any disease and fever on top of it. 26. If a patient has a heart problem, iskimia or coronary thrombosis, it is advised that the patient should consult a specialist and do any types of asana or pranayam under the specialist s supervision. Those who are working and have stress on their brain, it is advised that if they do yoga regularly then the chance of getting heart attack gets minimized. 27. Those who have already crossed the age of 30, they should not do any difficult postures at the beginning. 28. One should avoid drinking tea and coffee. One, who has the habit of drinking, should drink one cup in the morning and one cup in the evening. Having tea and coffee in the empty stomach is dangerous. At least a biscuit should be taken with the same. 50. With the recent scientific research it found that usage of tobacco in any form causes harm to the body, specially to heart (iskimia), blood pressure.
