The DEC maintains that all programmes are to be approved by the statutory bodies of the university and also by other regulatory bodies in the country, wherever required. Further it is the responsibility of the Institution concerned to take any such approval SMU-Distance,PTU-Distance BCA is not approved by Joint committee of DEC,UGC &AICTE.
In IMS/Hirank quality of students would be better than UPTEC &personality development will be better.Though course content of UPTEC is slightly better. UPTECis like a coaching institute & not college. IMS/Hirank have better infrastructure IGNOU:It is mostly self study with few classes to clear doubt. Regular assignments need to be done.Mostly done by employed persons.No regular interaction with faculty/Fellow students. NIIT -GNIIT +B.Sc(IT)Course would be better than IGNOU.
