Two weeks ago I received an e-mail from my aunt, who lives in Brazil, with the following title: Sweep upif needed (Tire o p.....se precisar). The e-mail had numerous paragraphs that talked about different aspects of life (such as work, friends, family, commitments, you name it) and how to balance all these with house cleaning (I can see you smiling right now). All the paragraphs geared towards how life is short and how life should be enjoyed (who needs to clean you may ask); and all of them ended the same way Sweep upif needed. As I read through the e-mail, I felt as if I was immersed in it.
Our lives could be defined by one word: multitasking. The Merriam-Websters Dictionary defines multitasking as the ability to do several things at the same time. How well we can do several things at the same time? The answer is we cant. We can choose to do several things but never do them well or never finish them. We have to choose. If we prioritize, we can do some things very well and, the best part, be fulfilled. I have learned this lesson a long time ago. The word of the day is to prioritize. You, beloved Members, have been my priority for the past year and Im fulfilled. Now lets take care of some business
