The programme facilitates international exchange in the third semester. During the final semester, you will complete a thesis project at university or company premises. The programme has established excellent contacts within the business community.

Programme specialisations
Innovation systems The Innovation Systems specialisation further explores the interconnections between the innovation processes and strategy development at high-tech businesses. Integrated operations and supply chain management This specialisation allows you to acquire in-depth knowledge of logistics at the supply end of businesses, within their networks (production logistics), and in their distribution processes. Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurship is for students who are thinking about starting their own companies or are interested in working in venture capital. You learn how to profitably exploit patents, how to create and evaluate business cases and how to write and assess a business plan. ICT systems design & e-business The ITC specialisation is especially well suited for students with an ICT background who wish to learn about the design of ICT systems and the launch of ICT ventures. Design Challenge The Design Challenge specialisation offers second year Masters students a unique opportunity to demonstrate how innovative and creative they are. Multidisciplinary student teams combine their entrepreneurial and design skills to develop practical solutions for the real world innovation problems of our corporate and governmental partners. Socio-technological specialisations This specialisation provides an opportunity for in depth studies of either sustainable development or safety & security management.

Free specialisation The programme also offers the opportunity for any student to design a focused, tailor-made specialisation comprised of a coherent set of related courses and assignments and geared to a particular career path. At the conclusion of the programme, you will be equipped with both the technical and the business skills to move into a position where you can help to drive business success as a manager of technology. MoT students work in countless international and national firms or organisations with a technical orientation (IBM, Microsoft, TNO, Frauenhofer, SKF, Hilti, KPN, etc.). Many also find employment in major consultancy companies. Still others choose to work for start-ups or smaller technology-oriented companies. MoT graduates work as project leaders, program managers, technology managers, R&D managers and consultants.

Admission requirements
Graduates with a Bachelors degree from a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (HBO): Applicants with a HBO BSc degree in engineering or natural sciences can apply for admission. Applicants that have shown academic excellence at a HBO might be eligible to begin the MSc programme immediately. Others might be admitted to enrol in the bridging course (30 EC) prior to beginning of the MSc programme or during their HBO programme (see www.HBOdoorstroom.tudelft.nl). Dutch University graduates: Applicants with a BSc degree in engineering or natural sciences are eligible for admission. International applicants: International applicants with a BSc degree in engineering or natural sciences are eligible for admission.
