ELECTION RULES AND REGULATIONS


For SGHOAI New Set of BOARD OF DIRECTOS Year 2011-2012
DATE OF ELECTION VENUE TIME : : : Nov 6, 2011 (Glen Clubhouse) 8 Am TO 5 PM

1. NUMBER OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD) TO BE ELECTED FIVE (5) BOD. (Article V, Section 2 of the By-Laws of Glen Homeowners Association, Inc.) a. Only members In Good Standing* shall be eligible for the office of Director. (* - A member in In Good Standing is one who complies with all the duties and obligations of a member as determined by the Board of Directors (Article 3, Section 2 of the By-Laws of Glen Homeowners Association, Inc.) Note: A member is considered Delinquent or Not in Good standing if he does not pay one (1) quarterly billing statement Paragraph 3 of the SGOAI Amended Board Resolution No. 01-003-A) 2. QUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES: a. Only duly registered members of Glen Homeowners Association, Inc. that meets the following criteria pre qualify as Candidates: i. A member In Good Standing. Candidates must secure certifications of good standing from the administration office. ii. A member with 18 years of age or above b. NOMINATION: Oct 17, 2011 (Monday) to Oct 23, 2011 (Sunday) i. Not less than seven (7) days nor not more than fourteen (14) days before the annual meeting at which the directors are to be elected, any ten (10) or more members, may, by written petition, nominate candidates to the Board and post the name In the Bulletin Board of the Association. (Article V, Section 3 of the By-Laws of Glen Homeowners Association, Inc.) 3. QUALIFICATION OF VOTERS: a. Only duly registered members (homeowners or lot owners, co-owners or spouses, sons daughters) of Glen Homeowners Association, Inc. that meet the following criteria pre qualify as Voters: i. A member In Good Standing ii. A member with 18 years of age or above b. Each qualified member shall be entitled to One (1) vote per household.

c. Voters are required to present any of the following Identification Cards: i. Drivers License ii. Passport iii. PRC Card iv. Current Company or Student ID v. SSS/TIN ID with picture d. Proxy is allowed provided that it is in writing, dated and properly authorized/signed by the duly registered member and filed at the Administration Office located at the Club Sola on or before the scheduled Annual General Membership Meeting. (On or before Nov 6, 2011) See attached Proxy Form. e. Voters are required to present any of the following Identification Cards: i. Drivers License ii. Passport iii. PRC Card iv. Current Company or Student ID v. SSS/TIN ID with picture 4. OFFICIAL BALLOT a. The Official Ballots are pre-numbered and bears the signatures at the opposite side the signatures of the three (3) members of the ELECTION COMMITTEE (for control purposes). The control number signifies and preassigned on the actual number of qualified voters from the official voters list. The main purpose of this is to safeguard the integrity of each casted vote as well as each homeowners privacy to vote. To simplify, the total number of pre numbered official ballots is equal to the total number of qualified voters screened by the members of the ELECTION COMMITTEE. b. Official Ballots will be provided by the Administration Office and to be checked by the ELECTION COMMITTEE. 5. ELECTION a. Directors should be elected by secret ballot at the annual meeting of the Association, which will be held on the 6th of November 2011.

Dear SHOAI Members: This is to inform you that for the past year our term as your Board of Directors of SHOAI we have accomplished the following programs and activities for the betterment of our community here at Glen. August 2004 KADAYAWAN SA An event participated by SHOAI GLEN members and their guest that aims to develop camaraderie and enjoyment for members and their guest during this local holiday of Davao.
