Course Title

LINEAR IC APPLICATIONS

1. Course description: This course includes the basic concepts of integrated circuits op-amps, linear and nonlinear applications of op-amps. This course presents about IC 741,andother linear ICs such as 555(timer),565(PLL),regulated power supply IC chips, Switched mode power supply, filters and A/D,D/A converters.

2. Scope and Objective of the course: .INTEGRATED CIRCUIT plays a major role in the fabrication of electronic
circuit consisting of large number of components on single substrate. Operational amplifier or op-amp is the most versatile active element among linear ICs. This course covers the design and application of op-amp and other linear ICs. 3. Textbooks: T1Linear Integrated Circuits D. Roy Chowdhury, New Age International (p) Ltd, 2nd Edition,2003. T2.
