Discussion: Situated learning is a general theory of knowledge acquisition that focuses itself on problem-solving skills. According to Jean Lave, learning is a function of the activity, context, and culture in which it is situated. Situated leaning or situated cognition conveys the idea that learning is embedded in or connected to the context in which knowledge and skills are developed. The students are given learning tasks in realistic contexts in which they are expected. Situated learning is related to social learning because it supports learning in a domain by enabling to acquire, develop, and use cognitive tools in authentic domain activity. This vantage point that students should be exposed to various meaningful problems where they would use their knowledge and skills: a. Learning is made meaningful when it is anchored on a realistic context.
b. Traditional forms of classroom learning and instruction which are largely

decontextualized in the sense with what the students learn.

Social interaction is a significant component of situated learning where the learners become involved in a community of practice. Community of practice refers to the idea that learning involves a deepening process of participation in a community of practice, also become an important focus within organizational development. Communities of practice are everywhere and we are generally involved in a number whether at work, school, home, or in our civic and leisure interest.

Implication of the topic to as a person or an individual The implication of the topic to an individual or a person (students/learner) is to learn how to socialize, visualize, and imitate for us to explore real life situations so that we could find our answers or solve the problem. By means of socialize, it influence the way we were think, perceive, perform and interact with others.

V.

Implication of the topic as a future Educator For me, as a future Educator, I may use my experiences and knowledge in shaping the behavior/characteristics and skills of my future students so that they could explore new knowledge and may use them to solve their problems or develop their identities.

VI.

Conclusion Therefore I conclude that learning is an essential to a person in developing his/her individuality and knowledge is a key in understanding. Without participating or interaction with others, we could not easily attain our goal and appreciate our life.

VII.

Recommendation We may use the theory of Jean Lave in developing our knowledge as well as our characteristics and skills for us to become more productive and efficiency.
