These operations entail surface and sub-surface clearances, and underwa ter clearances of munitions items under austere environmental conditions. The first phase of the program was to develop the Air Force Nuclear Surety Dashboard and integr

ate it with the Air Force Safety Center's data which displays all key surety ind icators in one screen with full drill-down capabilities. Phase III brings vital information from the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and integrates it with the Safety Center's data to create a comprehensive view of nuclear surety. Senior A ir Force leaders will be able to view the health of the entire nuclear surety pr ogram real-time in a matter of minutes that in the past would take them hours to do. The program has been so successful that the Air Force's Nuclear Issues Reso lution and Integration (NIRI) Board has praised the effort and sent it to the Nu clear Oversight Board (NOB) for full approval as the Air Force standard. Future phases are now being developed to add even more capability and demonstrations ha ve been requested by other DoD agencies. Top nuclear weapons expertise and superb field leadership led to co-authoring a Nuclear Enterprise Strategic Investment Plan for the firm. This strategic plan o utlined a roadmap of initiatives for the firm to consider for future business in vestments. Several recommendations in the plan have already been implemented an d new business opportunities have been opened. Managed several explosives safety projects for the Navy and at the same time mai ntaining the ability to leverage new business markets. Each of these projects required a de tailed executive summary to be prepared. es, weapon systems and facilities without exceeding the budget line for the last seven years. Developed and approved Military Munitions Response Plans and Real Property Resto ration Plans. These plans identify former military ranges and outline environmen tal restoration procedures to return the properties to a safe and usable conditi on. Orchestrated critical joint Air Launch Control System Operational Safety Review with the Navy, developing new rules to prevent Intercontinental Ballistic Missil es (ICBM) unauthorized launch. These new procedures were approved on the spot by the Secretary of Defense. Expert in chemical weapons: Investigated EOD WWI chemical munitions mishap where EOD personnel were injured. Results of investigation indicated EOD personnel re quired more intense training and a change in major accident response procedures. Developed new safety rules and training scenarios to prevent further incidents. New procedures were adopted by EOD personnel worldwide and there has not been a n injury involving chemical weapons since. Conducted quarterly emergency action exercises to keep personnel trained on iden tifying threats such as Improvised Explosives Devices and unauthorized personnel in the munitions storage area.
