Successfully negotiated technical specifications contr act resulting in a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. * Conducted technical market requirements evaluation and design for a spectral a nalyzer feature. Led product development life cycle team consisting of product managers, engineers and sales. Delivered feature to market ahead of schedule and created a distinct competitive advantage in a worldwide market. * Established critical contingency plans for key customer to avoid catastrophic network failure then led solutions team resolving hardware issues yielding a mor e robust product in congested RF environments throughout the country. * Developed revolutionary demonstration approach resulting in a 50% increase in Sales Delivery. * Implemented Distributor Notification system for software version control. * Led design and deployment of US West's initial roll out of their Wireless Resi dential Broadband Project. * Program Manager for all International wireless broadband deployments (South Ko rea, Canada and India) resulting in an International expansion including develop ment and implementation services team. * Built and managed implementation services team for wireless deployments. Manag ed a team of 12 including 6 program managers and 6 deployment engineers. * Successfully transitioned Adaptive Broadband to Axxcelera Broadband through th e Adaptive Broadband bankruptcy (See Above), including the transition of every e xisting customer. The new company hired only 11 existing Adaptive Broadband emp loyees, including myself and 4 of my direct reports. SIGNALSOFT CORPORATION, Boulder, CO 1997-1999 Sr. Program Manager: * Selected by COO as Construction Manager for overseeing construction completion and move-in for the company's new headquarters. * Successfully managed first location based software utilizing the mobile phone. Managed team of software engineers and the Carrier to conduct live trial of mo bile phone locations in Los Angeles, CA and mapping that location from Colorado. * Built live demonstration through city of New Orleans, during CTIA tradeshow di rectly resulting in an immediate multi-million dollar contract with a major mobi le carrier. * Responsible for the widely publicized demonstration of company's core business , E-911 - the first live demonstration in the country to utilize a carrier's net work and a 911 PSAP required to meet the 100 Meter radius to the caller ruling b y the FCC. Demonstration led to annual contracts for new E-911 business in Chica go and Atlanta. CORAL SYSTEMS, Longmont, CO 1995-1997 Senior Project Manager: * Managed company's flagship product "Fraud Buster" for 3 of its largest domesti c Wireless Carrier customers producing annual contract renewals with increases i n subscribers amounting to 40% of 1997 revenues. * Directed product launch of "Churn Alert" system. Conducted successful 6 month trial in the live network of US West in Seattle market. * Controlled largest OEM account with Sun Microsystems. Worked effectively with Sun's sales and support organization, keeping things seamless between our custom ers and Sun with no negative impact to our sales revenue. UNOCAL CORPORATION, Santa Maria, CA 1992-1995 Environmental Engineer/Operations Section Chief: * Managed the Guadalupe Oil Field release which was continental United State's l argest hydrocarbon beach cleanup at the time. This project used the Incident Co mmand Structure, which was required for an emergency response. As the Operation s Section Chief, duties included final construction authority and progress liais on between 17 separate agencies required by State and Federal statutes. This suc cessful cleanup plan was duplicated on a secondary beach cleanup. * Recognized as one of the Company's premier complex project manager directing l arge environmental cleanup projects throughout the country typically exceeding $ 1M+.
