Requisitioned, controlled, stored and de livered all supply, equipment and fuel to support the combat readiness of 200 Mi nuteman III, and Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. * Led squadron to well deserved recognition as Best Supply Squadron in SAC 2-yea rs in a row 1991 and 1992. Student Naval War College, Command and Staff College, Newport, Rhode Island 1988 -1990 Completed a rigorous, in-residence, graduate-level, Joint Professional Milit ary Education course in defense policy, military strategy, national resource all ocation and joint and combined maritime operations. Awarded Master of Arts degre e in National Security Strategy and Strategic Studies. Chief, B-IB Mission Support, Headquarters Strategic Air Command, Offutt AFB, Neb raska 1985-1988 Headquarters Strategic Air Command (SAC) single point for B-IB supply suppor t issues. Defined SAC contract requirements for interim contractor repair suppor t. Developed command assessments of spares support and impacts on the strategic mission. * Chaired team that identified over 50,000 B-1B residual assets; during 6 month effort distributed 20,000 line items of B-1B assets providing critically needed B-1B stock levels 8 months earlier than expected. Comprehensive analysis of over 53,000 initial provisioned spares identified 4,100 undelivered critically neede d spares; led a Tiger team with contractor representatives that accelerated spar es deliveries, and cut the undelivered total by 66 per cent. As a result, not mi ssion capable B-1B requirements were reduced from 632 to 312 over 50 percent red uction. Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Flight Commander, Grand Forks AFB, ND 1980-1985 Commanded a flight of five missile crews. Responsible for the operation and emer gency war order launch of 10 Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missiles. Dire ctly responsible for crews, management of launch control facility, supervision o f maintenance, security and support operations of a multimillion dollar missile complex. Instructor for the Lieutenant s Professional Development Program. * Because of excellent proficiency selected as the operations Officer for the te st launch of a Minuteman missile. Earned Safety Squadron of the Quarter Award 3 successive quarters. Received 7 out of 8 Highly Qualified proficiency ratings as Flight commander. Earned an Excellent rating for Launch Control Facility from t he Headquarters SAC Inspector General. Chief, Materiel Storage and Distribution 50th Supply Squadron, Hahn AB, Germany 1978-1980 Responsible for storage, issue, inspection, safeguarding and preservation of 45, 000 line items of supplies and equipment. Managed inventories exceeding $2 milli on, and annual requisitions exceeding $6 million. Managed/Supervised 62 personne l. * Improved issue effectiveness for stocked items by 8 percent in 6 just months l ed the command. Reduced delivery times, warehouse refusal rates. Implemented a p rogram to improve the quality and accuracy of receipt and storage and issue proc essing that resulted in decreasing the number of warehouse refusals by over 50 p ercent in less than six months; inventory accuracy up 4 percent.
