Test Coverage (Effectiveness), Defects identified/Overall Defects (by Type/SDLC) & Defects Prevention (Leakage into UAT/Prod)

Wellpoint IIT Project(Jan to April)-With the help of Busines specification document and Mapping we make sure all the test cases are covered.Same are maintained in Test director.Each test case is mapped to test requirement to ensure the efffective test coverage. Whenever a defect is observed during the executions, those observations are analysed and reported to onsite team by maintaining a observation/defect tracker.We used to maintain all defects in test director as well with all the analysis and used to keep track of them unless it is fixed. We also make sure that until all these defects are closed, the SIT is not signed off. Novartis Testing team(May-Till date)-With the RTM and requirement documents we make sure all the test cases are covered and same are maintained in quality center. We are maintaining defects in Quality center and keeping track of it till it is fixed.We are creating defect report on daily basis for a particular project.Defect report is shared on daily basis with onsite with all charts and graph to know the testing progress.

Adhering to the Best Practices Details Description: Best Practices implemented / suggested in the project/practiceWellpoint ITT(Jan-May)We are not only finding defects but also providing analysis to know the root cause of defect with proper analysis.Most of the we are supporting UAT and on request of users and provide them with needed analysis as and when required.

Few projects which had complex fix, we had performed sample validations which covers most of the scenarios which might come in production. By this we were assured that there will not be any defect leakage to the Production. I delivered a well -written code utilizing the knowledge acquired during training to add value to the assignments done by me.

Novartis(May-Till date)-We are responsible to deliver quality data to the users.So we make sure of loading and testing the data in QA enviorment as well as to provide the data to downstream users.

T-Gen-Upload the test cases in T-Xecuto Star gate-DDL Validation Delivery Improvement Details Description: New ideas implemented for delivery improvementFor few of the projects which i worked, the Test result document template was modified with that of existing template so that the walk through of the test results to the SME's will be easy and smoothly done.

Also made sure that the test plan, test case and test result document were in sync and no any test scenario was missed out during executions. Prepared Test evaluation summary report once the SIT iterations are over. Conduct KSS Details Description: Number of KSS conducted across projects /practiceHave provided efficient training to the ELT's in my team and guiding them to build a strong foundation for their career.
