Learning SAS (optional Course Pack: in the Book Store - probably under stat 2509) An Introduction to Statistical Methods and Data Analysis, by R. Lyman Ott

Additional References: Prerequisites: Assignments: Computer Labs: Grading:

STAT 3503 or equivalent There will be 5 assignments. The assignments will NOT all have the same weight. ALL assignments count toward the term mark. Start Feb 16 in 4385 HP Final Exam Assignments Mid Term Test 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 50% 25% 25%

NOTE:

A mark of at least 40% is required on the final exam in order to receive a passing grade in the course. An overall Term Mark of at least 40% is required in order to pass the course. At least 3 of the assignments must be handed in or an automatic grade of F will be given. There will be a 2-hour Mid Term held on the evening of February 10 (sometime between 5:00 and 9:00 pm. Exact time and place TBA). Only non-programmable calculators are allowed for tests and exams.

********************************** Students with a disability who require academic accommodation please let me know. Students must also contact the Paul Menton Centre to complete the required forms at least two weeks prior to the first in-class test, and no later than March 7 for April exams. Course Contents: Note that chapters given are approximate only. More information on exact coverage will be given in class. You are responsible for all material covered in class whether it is in the textbook or not unless you are specifically told otherwise. You are also responsible for any announcements made in class.
