Tasks and Profile: Designer / Control Engineer Your Tasks: Responsible for the maintenance, delivery, management and validation of the standard control definition for the ALSTOM gas turbine products Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements within the scope of the standard definition Assure that all products are designed and developed according to consistent concepts and standards Develop tools and processes to facilitate the validation of the integrated standard control system Validate solutions using state-of-the-art simulations Troubleshooting and supporting installed power plants Your Profile: University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a concentration or demonstrated experience in gas turbines

Knowledge in modeling and simulating dynamic systems using CACSD tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink) Experience with PLC engineering tools (e.g. Alspa) Power plant control development and/or commissioning experience Familiar with applicable codes and standards in the field of power generation control Assignments for commissioning support of power or process plant Excellent analytical and organisational abilities Working knowledge of English and German (basic) Ability to work effectively with all department interfaces and levels in an interdisciplinary team environment Result orientated with excellent planning and documentation skills
