We anticipate this including around 10 releases, starting with a release about the brochure launch to go out in late February and continuing through March, April and May. The schedule and focus of each release - should be agreed with the Spring Fling Manager in advance, as should all releases. The contractor will then be responsible for sending out agreed releases. These should all include relevant funders credits (eg Holywood Trust, LEADER, Dumfries & Galloway Council) in a notes for editors section. Copies must also be sent to funders and to the councils communications unit. As local press are more likely to pick up on press releases if they are accompanied by good photography, all releases should also be paired with relevant images from the Spring Fling photo library and sent out with the agreed images. This should be done in liaison with the Spring Fling Manager. Each finalised press release should also be sent to the Spring Fling Manager for inclusion on the Spring Fling website.

We are also seeking coverage in travel news pages in May. The press releases should also be sent to art magazines including Crafts, ArtMag, Artwork, AN etc. BROADCAST MEDIA The contractor will be responsible for contacting local and national radio and TV stations to arrange coverage in the run-up to Spring Fling.
